Introduction

Submitting a thesis is a necessary prerequisite to its defence (viva) by the doctoral student.

It can be submitted as a hard copy or in electronic format.

Submission is regulated by the legal framework defined in the August 7, 2006 decree on submitting, referencing, copying, circulating and keeping theses or works defended for a doctorate.

Submitting your thesis is a necessary prerequisite for its circulation. However, a thesis will not systematically be circulated.

This is regulated by diverse legal provisions as defined both by the August 7, 2006 decree and, being the produce of intellectual work, by copyright.
